I was hired a while back to do some concept art for a video game. The game project however went under.
So now i am free to share the art i did... Posting them as scraps of course, cause as concept art they are far from full deviations.
This is a concept design for a mermaid. I chose orca markings. The first drawing (left to right) was the original concept sketch, the second was the front view, and the last was the side view.
I might try taking this orca concept and expanding it into a new drawing, but a more aquatic mermaid, more orca and less human maybe (like no knees under the tail)
Of course, full view... And check out the other concept art i did for the sadly dead video game project.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
