I did some work on that Eliza Dushku portrait i had drawn a while ago.
Overall i'm pretty happy with the results.
There is still so much i would love to be able to improve on it. But i'm afraid if i do much more the paper will not stand it. Sadly. Infact that little area just below her closer eye has already had it! *Really i tried to soften the shading, would not happen!!!*
I did some more pencil work, some erasing, as well as some blending with a tortillion (although i think that did more harm than good).
Crits are welcome, thouth i know there are a lot of parts that are not as good as they could be, so you would probably just be pointing out things i already know.
You may see more work still on this in the future, as i said there is so much more i want to do with it. That is if the paper will allow it!
took me awehile to comment on this. anywyas this one is really awesome! the detail on this one is great and must of litterally took you forever. Your very good with the eyes and realistic art.
I adore the contrasting colors of hair. I think that makes the piece, along the eyes. And geeze, yes, the world might as well be crashing in on itself when the paper of a cherished piece of art starts to fall apart. It's heartbreaking and/or panic-making.
Thanks. Well the paper thing is my own fault, cause i erased too much in that one spot. It's not too, too noticeable thankfully, just very worn there. But you can see the unblended smudginess it leaves on the page which is apparently irreversible.
